• The Secretary of State for Tourism or a member of its Center Directors designated by him, as well as a representative of the Government Delegation in the Autonomous Community of Madrid, by the General State Administration.
• The Director General of Tourism and the Center Directors officer designated by him, by the Autonomous Community of Madrid.
• The President of the Tourist Consortium of the Western Sierra de Madrid and a member by the Consorcio Turístico de la Sierra Oeste de Madrid.
• The Manager shall act as secretariat of the Monitoring Committee and the Plan.

Among the powers of the Monitoring Committee are the following:

• Annually approve projects for the implementation of actions to be conducted.
• To review and adjustment of the proceedings provided that the circumstances so warrant.
• Schedule the execution of projects.
• Take any action it deems most appropriate for the best organization and operation of the Convention.
• Solve the problems of interpretation and compliance.
